Okay, here's what I'm doing soon to help my gas mileage.

New FRAM PCV Valve
Seafoam, 1/3 gas tank, 1/3 pcv, 1/3 crankcase
New distributor cap + rotor

Is there anything else that I can do that isn't too expensive? Meaning under $40. I already did plugs, wires, synthetic oil upgrade, and new cat o2 sensor. I do have a highflow cat with defouler trick installed. Currently I get 200 miles to a gallon.

i hav a V6 with 110,800K miles and i just changed the spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor...i am almost at half a tank and only driven for 117 miles ( ALL CITY driven. Anybody hav the same problem??

YES

Currently I get 200 miles to a gallon.

 200 miles per gallon... lol i wouldn't be sad

But anyway yeah I used to get about 300 on a full tank (auto i4) now that i changeded to 18's my meter reads about 275 per tank... so i'm assuming its just due to the circumference difference.

I get about 300 to the tank with a 5spd on 17inch wheels. The car has 151,000mi and still has the original cat and O2 sensors (as far as I know). One the highway however I can get all the way from home to school (450miles) averaging between 75-80mph on one tank of gas. When I get to school theres 2-3 gallons left in the tank.

I was getting about 320-350 miles per tank. Pretty much all city. However, it will get down to 290ish on a bad semester when i spend about 3 min driving to school and 20 min idleing in the parking lot. I don't know what i get per tank now as i never put in more than $50 and that doesn't cover a tank in cali.

from manitoba canada and last few weeks its been brutally cold here. i say average was -35 C w/windchill. so here's what i got from last sunday to today:

98 AV6 Stock - 26.801 L used and 144 kms travelled. using an online calculator, it equated to 15.1775 mpg! almost as bad as my 04 WRX last winter

i don't warm it up for a long time either. max is 5 mins only after sitting overnight

i did take off the bottom half of the airbox for a diy sri but i put it back on to see if anything happens. i doubt it would affect the fuel consumption much. only thing i can think of is changing the spark plugs cuz i haven't checked them since i bought the car back in july 07.

u guys think it needs a tune up or just the sub zero temps, or combo of both?

It's been super cold here lately as well (Tuesday's high was -10 F). I filled up a few days ago and got about 13.8 mpg. That was with warming it up for quite a while whenever I drove it, though. I replaced the PCV valve so hopefully that helps.
