A few weeks ago I decided to try it out after installing new motor:

I still managed to get 297 miles out of a full tank on 91 Octane driving fairly conservative with a higher compression motor and maxed out fuel pump regulator.

Oh, and a fwy cruising speed of 70mph at 3500 rpms with my H23 trans!

Not bad.

I get around 550 with a little under a quarter of a tank left. I was averaging 600 on my road trip. But on mixed driving habits on street, maybe 450 tops? And I don't drive like a grandma but not like an idiot.

230-240. but i mainly drive city for a short burst of 7 miles. usually to school with hills.

yeah most i drive on a trip here is like 20 miles tops. Thats why I average 280-300 when the light comes on. But that's also with driving about 7-08 miles in stop and go , red lights everywhere!!! It's hard to get good gas mileage in new orleans... =(

I would get a bit better than that but I used to drive 1.5 miles to school, followed by 15 min of idling, waiting for parking. That would usually be 2x per day. The rest was 2-3 mile trips for 80% of my miles, 20% being 10-15 miles city. Living in my area, there are so many cities within 20 miles so unless you are going on an actual trip, it's hard to even make a long drive.

Now I get about 330 per tank, half city, half highway (but often in traffic). I want to do my plugs, cap, rotor, airfilter, etc soon and see what I get.

These cars really don't get good mileage though, it seems to be only slightly better than my old turbo awd Talon, if not the same.

I haven't finished my tank of gas yet but so far I realized that cruising at 65mph highway helps the car save a lot of gas. I usually get 28mpg or so highway but recently it seems like I've gotten even more. This tank wouldn't be accurate though since I drove around 20-30 miles at 75mph. After this tank, I'll refill it and do another calculation to see how high my mpg will be just driving 65mph pure highway.

Here is my average for the past 3 months:

(Mileage/gas [measured during refill])
348.8/15.214
336.3/13.869
375.9/15.964
288.4/13.397
328.2/15.164
294.1/13.230
353.8/15.713

21-24 mpg

I'd say I drive 50/50 (city & freeway) as much conservative as I can.
