Too scared to run it on fumes just yet, so i'm guessing a little

24hwy lately. 22.8 most recently but I had the AC on the whole time.

I was averaging 20-22 mixed but after a seafoam and a few other things, it improved. I'd love to see 24 city and 26-28 hwy but I think Id have to drive like an old lady, lol.

V6 auto with 130k. New filters, plugs, wires, seafoam, proper air pressure...Intake and exhaust.

I averaged 22.8MPG/hwy, with AC. Without AC I was averaging 24MPG/hwy. City, it's a pretty consistent 21-22MPG.

The sad, or funny, thing is; those are the exact numbers I was getting out of my 240k mile 4cyl CB7.

My 4G got 20-22/city and MAYBE 24/hwy, if I was lucky. Most of my driving was city so I averaged 21mpg. On a 4cyl. granted, it had over 200k but c'mon.

I got the 6G and I knew, being a v6, the mileage wasnt going to be high 20s, but i figured, it being a newer vehicle with less than half the miles, surely, it'd get better mileage. Nope.

I was seeing 280 or so on a tank but once I started replacing items and keeping up on things, I see well over 300 on a tank. Maybe 350. If I'm doing a lot of highway driving, keep my foot out of it, with no AC, I could make it to 400. I have once, but I was coasting on fumes. Sure, I made it to 400 but I put it 16.2 gallons. Do the math; that's only 24.6mpg/hwy.

MPG 32 Average, 38 Highway "50-55MPH" 60MPH=34MPG
480-510miles

A good method on trying to save gas is go 50-55mph cruising on the highway and let other cars pass you. If there are many cars on the highway, use it as an advantage. Be 15-20ft away from the vehicle because it reduces your cars' air resistance.
Also - wash your car and shine it to a beauty. Dust and dirt effects your aerodynamics and fuel efficiency by 3%
Also i do not always fill up a full tank, just add $30 of gas, and add 1oz to each gallon. :beer2:
