Yellow Headlights

has anyone gotten pulled over for yellow headlights before? i got popped for them bout a month ago for having yellow headlights out in bolingbrook after pickin up my brother in law from work. i didnt get a ticket for it and i know its not illagal cause it more like fog lights but with more light output. one of my buddies got popped for it too months ago for the same thing but only difference i got a hid pnp kit he didnt he got let off too except i think he got popped out in naperville or something

yellow head light low beams are illegal, as far as i know. i rocked em for two days then took them out because i was putting in my hid kit. i almost got pulled over like 5 times tho, no joke. idk why the cops never did pull me over, but they all followed me. like 3 of them turned around after i had passed them. i was behind one and he pulled over and waited for me to pass him, then followed me, but never pulled me over. i only had them in for 2 days, and it was only for fun, haha.

i think it depends on what you have, a 3000k hid it or nokya/luminics bulbs. I never got shiit for my HID's, well their only 6K, but cops dont care too much about minor crap like that over here. I've actually had a cop gimmie a thumbs up once in a walmart parking lol as he walking to the store he saw me get into the car.

i had alway had yellow headlight pretty close to 5yrs that i had my car i never got popped for them til bout a month ago. which am not takin them out til i get a ticket or if they go out

in WI, you can have yellow to white headlights....so no weird colors. just poopy stock color towards 4300k output...although i'm not sure about 3000k yellow.

I got pulled over 5 times for them in ny so yes they are illegal some cops care others don't like I had a local cop in my car he told me that my towns cops don't care but the state troppers do.... If your nice to them they give you warnings or just a fix it ticket

EDIT>>> FWIW, a lot of late 80's and early 90's Japanese cars had them next to the headlights (I'm thinking like the early Lexus GS's and Toyota's of the day)...those are 50 state legal..

i did after i got pulled over nothing about yellow headlights all it said was no red or blue headlights so am rocking them til i get a ticket

i asked a cop about yellow headlights (in va) and he said they're illegal. he didnt seem like he was 100% sure, because he hesitated in his answer...
