Hey guys! I just got a 2000 white accord coupe as a hand-me-down from my wife who got a new car(a 2012 white accord sedan, go figure). I use to be into off-road cars, had a lifted jeep wrangler in the past but had to get rid of it due to ridiculous gas prices and needed some money. Anyways, got this car from my wife and it's a cool little car that I wanted to make my own. I figured this would be a good place to look around and see what everyone else has done to theirs. It's got about 145k miles on it and I've been at work cleanin out the inside. If anybody has any tips or things a new owner should know about these cars please let me know! Thanks

i4 or v6?

plenty of info on here. Generally you'll want to lower first, get some wheels, DIY headlights, bolt-ons, whatever your preference :)

Did you have any specific mods you wanted to do?

You know, I haven't even looked. I believe it's a i4 because there's no little chrome v6 emblem on the back. Also, it's automatic so I don't get to shift like the cool kids lol. First off I'd like to tint my windows and remove some of the crap on it like the splash guards and the spoiler. I'd like it to look simple and clean. I fear that when I remove the spoiler it will leave quite a mess on my trunk lid though. Does anyone know where I could get a new trunk lid without a spoiler? I'm also planning on plasti dipping the chrome that's around my side windows. I don't like chrome. I don't even know what I have to do to lower my car. I'm pretty new to all this.

easy way to tell without opening the hood or going outside, check how many lug nuts are on the wheels, 4 means i4, 5 means v6.

Welcome to 6GA. Check the diy section to get your feet wet. Be advised this site is addictive and tends to lead to an empty wallet.
