what's this that popped out?!

I drove home and found this sticking out from the hole above the rear licence plate! Does anyone know what it is and how i put it back where it belongs?

it looks like the brackets have rusted out. you're going to have to get creative.

License Plate light, and as Sketch said, have fun trying to remount it! My old Tiburon had the same issue and I just ended up taking some wood and jamming it back up after I put epoxy on it to dry.

Mine fell out one day also. Rusted so bad you could break it with no pressure. Luckily I found an OEM one on eBay the exact same day mine fell out.

Had the same problem on my eclipse's back in the day. Just take both lights out and wire in a led strip over both lights soo much easier and you dont have to worry about it rusting out!
