Pulled fender, any before and after photos ???

I'm realizing more and more that my car will need to be completely repainted. Before I do that, though, I may have the shop pull the fenders as well, as I'd like to run MUCH wider wheels/tires before going with forced induction. The problem with our cars, as I see it, is that the bumpers attach quite high in the arc of the wheel well. Therefore, it's difficult to pull fenders without having to modify the bumpers too, like KnightRyder did.

Therefore, are there any members who pulled their fenders without touching the bumpers ??? I tried searching, but couldn't really find anything. Thanks in advance.

A guy on Instagram named shortywho pulled his rear fenders on a sedan but I'm not a fan of the pulled fender look. KnightRyder had the right idea about the bumper.

Just got in from the Shrimp on the Barbie meet, and I let puzzlemaster practice on my back fender. He might be doing his in the morning, so if not, I'll get pictures of mine and I think knox and redryder both have rolled fenders... :beer:

Dan, hope the meet was fun! By his description of MUCH wider wheels, I don't think rolled is what he had in mind. I think he's planning something a bit more extreme. :naughty:

I'm running XXR 527 18x8.75's. Since they constantly rubbed on my old sedan, I preemptively rolled the fenders on the coupe. At 24" fender to ground and just -2 camber I still have a consider gap and unnecessarily pulled fenders. :throw:

Where the rear bumper attaches isn't nearly as in the way on the coupes. I also hammered that metal piece up ready to zip tie, but probably didn't need to.

Just to be clear, I'm already 'rolled' in the front and back (meaning the inner surface of the fender has been smoothed), but am now looking to pull (extend and flare out the fender) to accommodate wider wheels/tires.

The more and more I think about it, there isn't a neat way of doing this without massaging the front and rear bumpers.

Anyways, here's an idea of what I'm looking to do.

As you can see they had to blend the bumpers to keep the continuity of the car's lines. Unfortunately, that's where it get's expensive :Frustrated:

That's kind of what I thought you were getting at my man! They did a hell of a job with that jetta, so just find out who did that work and hand them your accord! Either way, it will be costly but I'm sure well worth it if you're planning on running the wheels that require that much space.

You can talk to Vlad (Narftastic) I know hils fenders are pulled, not sure about his bumpers though. Also might be able to talk to Kevin (Sleeper Cell) his fender are pulled, but I don't know about his bumpers either.

My fenders will be pulled once I work out some more suspension stuff and I'll be sure to show you what it looks like without the bumper modified. Even though I'll end up pulling the bumpers out, just because it looks better. Should take too much though, just a heat gun and some screws.

Ah, alright, was tired when I posted to this :rofl:

For pulling fenders, if I remember correctly, when my buddy did his Jetta, he had to cut two notches on the fenders, push them out, then weld new material in, and paint. It was some other things as well, but I know it's not a DIY you can easily tackle in a day.
