New Honda Owner...

Hi all, I just picked up a 2005 Accord Hybrid on Friday. I've owned many different types of cars, but this is my very first Honda. I've heard great things, so I'm hoping it stands true.

u prob can't get too many performance mods, except an exhaust and intake since those have nothing to do with the hybrid system.... most cosmetic/ exterior mods should be the same as the regular accords tho

DarkSideAccord, you are correct, there aren't very many performance mods out at all for them. The only thing I have gotten was a K&N air filter, saw an exhaust & intake on Ebay, and as you stated, everything else was all cosmetic accessories. Oh, I also have the chrome exhaust tips to clean up the rear of the car & got the windows tinted.

DarkElegance, I am supposed to get 28 mpg city & 35 mpg highway. I have been ranging between 25-30 city & 35-40 highway. But going from an SUV that did 17mpg city & 20mpg highway, I am definitely not complaining!

agreed, dont really worry about performance, the hybrid accord is actually faster stock than the non-hybrid, just do cosmetic things like a drop, lip kit and nice wheels and ur car will look really nice
