DIY 01-03 JDM Civic Fog Lights

how come its so hard to wire for everyone? Wouldnt you just get a wire from the swirch to the pos. terminal on the battery? I dont get whats so hard about it? Its simple wiring I would assume. But then again, I am an electrician.

i can figure out the wiring... but it helps to have soemthing to look at first lol. plus theres so many wires that came in the box im confused lol.


one way or another ill finish wriing these mofos by the end of the weekend.. if it doesnt rain..

If I have time, I will show you how I wired mine. It is quite simple. I just haven't had the time to finish this DIY. I will probably repost this thread when I get all my pics up.

these fogs arent really meant for our cars anyway, so your gonna have to cut a lil part of the lower grille to make it fit (all 6thgens). unless your car doesnt have a lower grille... but thats all. if you go back one page you can see what you need to cut.

it was so easy to wire, that's if u dont want to be fancy and have a little switch from the inside to turn on and off.

i had one strand of wires put together directly from the lightbulbs, positive and negative wiring, and it was all linked together and had an outlet to plug into another set of wires, but i said **** that.

so i cut the whole thing right in the middle, one side had + and - wiring connected to the light and visa versa with the other side. i grounded them to a bolt, and spliced the positives into my lowbeams. thats all there is to it. its not going to blow up or anything, so no need for a relay. i've had it like this for about a month and still doing good.

better hope not...youve only doubled the amount of strain on the wiring harness and halved the impedance. i think the oem harness is $300+ (the replacement for the headlight harness that is)...i can put together a harness for less than $30
