so i decided that my engine bay was way too plain, and then got to work. It still needs another coat or 2 but i'm out of paint.

dropped the idea of the sticky adhesive stuff

Turned out well, good job. Should look even better when you get an SRI/CAI in there as well as cleaning the engine bay up!

Oh yeah just so that you are aware you don't have to use high-heat paint on the engine covers. A lot of people use standard automotive paint or just plastic paint. That way you have more choice of colors. I have been thinking about wrinkle coating mine or the front valve cover.
