from what i understand some of the cheaper hoods fade and even crack. so i would be wary of that. a people i know have VIS hoods and they say that the finish on them isnt so great, and thats a pretty good company. I'd just be prepared to get what you pay for. That thing is like a magnet for the sun and will take a lot of abuse.

I believeI have a generic CF hood, bought it for $125 off craigslist for the purpose of painting over it in the far future and weight savings.....its oxidated like hell but watever lulz......it fitted well in my opinion......the grooves on the edges are rough and looks cheap up close :ownedrun:

Since your emphasis are on appearance and fitment instead of brand/quality........generic hood isn't so bad :)

i got that one for $200 off ebay that hancockedposted and it fit fine

I also have a generic CF hood. But I guess I paid too much because it was $200 picked up used, but still pretty mint.
