Can't you rent a spring compressor from Autozone for free?

Also, hydraulic jacks don't cost that much.

Apparently I can rent spring compressors at my local Advanced Auto Parts for Free (well, downpayment, but full refund when returned).

However, they have 2 different kinds, one for coil springs and one for struts.

I didn't know you had to compress your struts? That's sorta confusing...
Anyways, Illuminas will be here on Thursday. No tracking # for the camber kit, should get here before Thursday though.

well I looked around at all the coilovers and people bitch about them too much. I figured sportlines and illuminas would be good.

Yeah you just need the "strut spring tool."

This thing actually looks like it's easier to use than these

****ing things.

**** those things. And yeah for the amount of money you paid you could have gotten a sick set of previously enjoyed coil overs.

Another option for you would be to go on Majectic Honda and buy new upper strut mounts and pre assemble the illuminas and springs. Then you won't need a spring compressor.

coilovers ftw....people that bitch about them....are bitches....:kenny:

x2

coilovers for life.

actually, these are what i would recommend to use...theyre so easy to use too. ive done accord suspensions too many times, haha, and ive actually got a set of these (theyre just $40 at autozone) and they work great. that other pictured tool actually looks more retarded, and i dont see how you could use it with the spring still on the shock.
