i thot our moldings were mounted? :thnking:
there was member here who had them removed/bondo'd to fill them in.....

i dont remember who it is, but he has brother who has TL i think....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's nothing there to "fill in." I doubt Honda would spend the money making indents on specific cars with the optional door guards. If they're like the one's Ford put on the V6 Mustangs they're just stuck on there with 3M-type adhesive and remove fairly easily.

The only problem I could see with removing them is that the paint underneath might look newer than the rest of the paint, so you might end up with a little ghost stripe there haha

theres holes that our clip onto that hold them on as well. thats the only thing the coupes have on the sedans is the stuck on side moldings.

i wanna take mine off, but thatd require a lot of welding, for the holes, and then some body work, then paint.


id say shave em, but itd be cheaper just to paint them.

^shaving side mouldings is nice but shaving door handles looks sick on a show-car but kinda out of range on a near stock form.
