Corrosion removal started.....

Need to get the head in hand to tear it down and start the cleaning/porting/rebuilding job.

wow.. you did a complete tear down. Try get a k20z head with RBC. You can pull 250-275whp on stock internals if done right all motor(doing fuel system, exhuast, headers, etc). If your going turbo, there was some guy from 7th gen accord forums hitting 700whp + and he shows his whole build(cstyleaccord??).

What you going do?

Nothing crazy for now the car will be boosted with SC or turbo once I can get it running and after break in at some point. For now just trying to get the swap done with TSX pistons and rods and yes I'll be using the RBC intake manifold and other OEM & aftermarket parts along with Hondata K-pro. The K20Z1 head which I should pick up in the next week or so and at the end I'm looking for about 300-350whp on low boost :) The block was outgassed today to remove any dirt and build up and once I get the powders in we will powder coat the blocks and trans housing along with other motor parts. Here is the timing cover done in reflective chrome as a test I might just end up using this type of powder for the housings it looks great.
