Painting Third Brake Light

i did it in my last accord too. def needed for those of us who have the tan interior and tinted windows.

well, i dont have tinted windows anymore tho, haha.

nice diy, but a good tint shop will remove the brake lamp assembly prior to tinting so that it doesn't show thus no need to paint! lol

but what if you don't want tint over your brake light??? That kinda defeats the purpose of the 3rd brake light, and if your tint is dark, you can get pulled over for it.

no, thatd be a bad tint shop, as tinting over the 3rd brake light IS illegal. yea, ive seen it done, yea, they did it on my lincoln, but it is illegal to tint over the 3rd brake light.

a good shop wouldnt do it even if you requested it.

if you have an OEM spoiler, your 3rd brake light does not light up.
