hey sketch ( sorry, don't know your name ) is it plug and play or is there any modification needed to get it to work. ?

well, you need to cut and connect the power and ground wires for the ccfl rods transformer and your cars oem wiring for the license plate light, most people do it that way. i just made mine plug and play sorta, so i could change it back if i needed to.

finally got around to doing this... ordered a pair of 4" CCFLs online and got them today... install took around 15min or so... took more time wiping the surfaces down with rubbing alcohol and cutting the 3m molding tape then install itself... pretty happy with the results, they look a sh*t ton better then the piss yellow oem bulb

yeah i also got a pair of 4' CCFL's, but i need to install them. I might put one inside the trunk and one for the license plate, since they are so bright anyway.

^^^^^I'm with you on that suggestion, I need to get something a lil brighter for my trunk as well as the two for the rear plate.

I actually like the Lexus light, which is probably about as bright as this. Noce work though, those of you who have done it.

its not as harshly bright as in the last pic, plus i blurred my plate out so it looks a lot brighter. its really looks nice and clean tho. mines one 12" tube.

That was something else I was wondering, whether it was better to use 2 x 4", 1 x 9", or 1 x 12"?
