okay, say you are holding the clock upright: There is a metal circle where the light goes in, the top half is the - and the bottom half is the +
I got an ultrabright LED, spliced the + end to a resistor, and from the resistor i soldered it to the bottom half, and the - end of the LED i soldered it to the top half of the circle.
before, i went through someone elses instructions and it didnt work, but i found out the issue was that they got the positive and negative circles mixed around.
