For a while now on my clock the red hazard triangle is burnt out but the clock itself is fine and still is lit... Recently just bought a red LED kit for the climate control and clock. I'm guessing replacing the clock bulb with a red one will only light the clock and not the hazard triangle? I'm kind of just thinking about buying another whole working clock for this LED project..

there are separate bulbs for the hazard and the clock.

both bulbs point at a 90 degree angle to what they illuminate, so if you get leds make sure they have a wide viewing angle.

i stuck an LED in my clock, here's the thread:

i also tried and LED in my hazard, but it's a pain in the *** and i never go it working the way i wanted - i recommend just swapping the bulbs

The bulbs used for switches and also for the clock light - they are Honda bulbs with a special base, they are not your typical wedge bulbs. To add to that, they cost ~$6 at the dealer which is mad expensive. There is a way to wire in an LED to the original base of this Honda bulb, if it's the similar size, but unless you are very coordinated it is extremely easy to mess up and break the contact/resistor upon trying this procedure.

I don't even care I'll just spend $6 at the dealer.. so that's all I gotta do? Pick one up there?

Yeah, just make sure it's the right bulb - compare it to your old one upon purchase. Some of the bases are bit off between Acura and Honda, causing fitment problems. I got my replacement bulb for cruise switch from Acura dealer, and had to shave some of the plastic tab off to make it fit. No major things to watch out for, just make sure the bulb fits and works. Usually they are good about returns if a product doesn't work.

I have this same problem. The clock and hazard light wont light up but everything else will. I have checked fuses and cant pinpoint the problem. I purchased an new clock bulb from honda for about $5 and it still wouldnt light. Any suggestions?
