Re: Cathode License Plate kits

chop chop kev, i want mine yesterday :p:omgbd:

Haha, there will be more soon! 10-20 by the end of the next week, 5 at the end of this week.

interested in some trunk ones.. hm...

I have decided I will be doing the trunk kits. They cost more to make, so I will likely make a very small (Under 10) run of them in two or three weeks time. I will likely allow people to place orders for them, And pay when they are completed. More of reservation of sorts. Not yet though! I will create a thread for such things when they are are available.

I'd love a plug and play trunk kit

The dome light would be nice, but I'd rather something plug and play (like the $20 LED's).

I definitely see that. The CC dome kits would be nice, but the LED kits are already readily available. A license plate kit can be converted for dome lamp use, But does require some work.

Nice looking kit, did you use Techflex for the sleeving?

I did you Techflex. the next batch may be using a different color, as a steady supply of the "carbon" color I used is hard to come by in 1/4" size without a high cost. I will likely be using black, though I will try to use more carbon. It looks so much better, and costs the same!

Cold Cathode FTW. i has a set of red 12's in my explorer, and now i have a set of blue 12's in my accord. Just a tip man try adding the sound control module to your kits. They are very easy to wire in. Thats what i did

There are a few ways I cloud integrate sound activation. Since the inverter sits in the trunk lid, it could be used to make the lights brighter when trunk subs slap. It would may not be legal, but if enough people show interest, I may do it.

wuts paypal? im interested in the Rear L plate ones. :lolhitting:

It's an online payment system. Basically, you can create an account for free, and send people an online payment using your credit card. You can also hold money in your PayPal account, and transfer it to your bank account or spend it where paypal is accepted. If you do not want to use PayPal, money orders are also accepted. Best place to get them is at a post office, they do charge a small fee. It is basically like making a check. If you are close to west San Jose, and willing to drive, you can always pay in cash and forgo any shipping charges.

Thank you for all of the compliments and comments. :)

Newer kits will have a different fuse holder. Same 3A fuse, but more compact and sleek if you ask me. Also, the place where I got the original ones does not have many left, so I had to find something new.

i meant wuts ur paypal id. i got my cash money ready bro lols. :jae:

Oh, i see. :ughrun:

I have a few kits that are extra from those put aside for the raffle, only 4 to be exact. They will be available SOON, I just want to test each kit individually. I also want to make a photographic installation guide, but I am very busy this week, and may not have the time to make it until Friday.

If it is Friday evening and I have not made the guide, I will open them for sale, with an official "for sale" thread in this sub-forum, and they will not include the guide (install is very simple). They will be first come first serve. For the second batch, I will allow a "pre-order" system. You will not have to pay until the item is made and ready to ship. No one will ever have to pay for any product before it is made.

Unless someone were to request some insane 24x 12" cathode heated trunk BBQ or something equally insane. In such an extreme case, things may be slightly different. :crazyrun:

All I want is a plug and play license plate kit and a plug and play trunk kit. My trunk is dark :(

Also, the idea about having a light under the rear shelf and one on the outside of the trunk lid (to light up the ground and surrounding area) isn't a bad idea actually
