well after doing my first job with a friend whos new to motor work as well, we figured it was the radiator that was done lol. it was dripping coolant and then it was burning, so it smoked...i guess my coolant was blue...maybe diff. brand, diff. color...problem solved though! thanks for all your suggestions and help...
