agreed. tinted tail lights isn't that dim from what i seen from experience but cops will definitely have an excuse to pull you over. not sure if it's illegal at some states but i think it's better to keep it as bright as it could be. other than that, i tinted my tail lights super red which it's a darker red. looks pretty nice on my clear/red tail lights.

$160 iirc for 20% SunTek + vinyl strip for my sedan, although I wasn't completely satisfied with how he did the brake light

nice! i have about the same tint on my tails. But i used thinned out black paint and some clear coat to do the job. This way, the paint isn't so thick like the VHT nightshade stuff, so light actually comes through.

MURDERED OUT TAILS FTW!!

haha i took it from my phone when i was switching out my license plate cover to a tinted one.. i dont have the cord for my camera yet but when i do ill get some good pics.. i just got this to show the tailights ;p

I understand what you're saying, but it won't make a difference to the cops. I've had tinted taillights and you could see the lights easily during the day or night, but they're still illegal and you're prone to getting pulled over along with unnecessary tickets because of it. Once the cops pull you over for the tinted taillights, they could harass you for your illegal front windows & so on. Not worth it. Good luck.

True that man I was bumpin down the street hard and a cop pulled me over so I turned off the car threw my deck in the glove box and put my keys on the dash, by the time he got there he made up a dumb *** rule telling me to yield properly next time I saw a cop on the side of the road and left.
