quick tire size question

If you're at stock height (No suspension work) they won't rub.
Now if ou put a couple of passengers in the backn you may get a little rubbing if you hit a dip in the road.
But rubbing shouldn't be your main concern. Your concern should be your speedometer being off and the handling of your car as it maybe affected with a larger profile tire

i used one of the aftermarket rim and tire calculator that we have on the site and it says when it says im going 30 i will be going 31.6 and when it says im going 60 i will be going 63.2. thats not bad at all. i has snow tires on my car that were the wrong size this past winter so i learned to keep a lookout for my speed. will the larger tire size do anything to my hubs or anything?

nah its not that big of a deal. i didnt notice any rubbing even with my car fully loaded while moving a few times.

my car came with 205/55s, got some cheap 205/65s, and now im back to 205/55s...i havent seen any ill effects. only issue was the lower ball joints but those were replaced at 13x,xxx miles and they dont last forever so i'd chalk it up to normal wear n tear cause our roads are ****.

if you want/need those particular tires and they only come in 70 aspect ratio, go for it.

well i want a tire that will go through mud no prob and handle dirt/gravel roads, like i said b4 i do alot of outdoor activities with my accord and take it alotta places an accord should not go lol

Most tires are M+S (Mud and snow) approved but on a car it's to a certain extent
If that's the case you should upgrade to an SUV which has more ground clearance and 4WD

finding 205/60 tires is nearly impossible. you can get the "regular" cooper S Drive or whatever they're called but those are really basic. other than those...i couldn't find any others in the size through reputable web sites.

dont know why that is since plenty of accords were sold

When I had my accord and was shopping for stock tires a shop near my house has Kuhmo's in stock 205/60/15 so I went with those

yea well i like my accord toooooo much to get an suv, plus the accord is payed off lol. i went in a diffrent direction with my accord as well. i was into the civic scene for a while and i sold it because i wanted something bigger. to me the honda scene is all about being diffrent. i went the "off road" direction. i have a yakima rack with the yakima load warrior basket and 4 piaa 540 lights mounted on top of the load warrior. flame me if u want but i like being diffrent

i went a ratio down for somewhat better handling and got a more "performance" tire which suck in the snow and i like yokohama tires, personally. the V4S are very nice in anything but snow...great tire after 7 months of ownership.

i will be getting winter tires/rims unless i have a truck this year

Truth.

When I was looking for 205/60/16's to fit my factory EX rims (I had to replace 2 when I got the car), I went with the factory tires, which were Michelin MXV4's. Way expensive for an M+S tire but at the time I was staying stock.

I had looked around for this size in other tires out of curiosity and they weren't easy to find.
