I purchased a 8000k HID kit, and was told by one of my buddies that if I put it in a reflector housing, I'm gonna get pulled over the second I leave the driveway. Now common sense would say that I got the 8000k so that it wouldn't be blinding white. RIGHT? So here are the two options I see best.....

1) Tint the relector part one super light shade with the pactra 294 (for those who know what that is)
2) See if I get pulled over

Can't think of any other options. I'm from TN so cops around here are super bored most of the time. What should I do?

in TN you won't get pulled over that much...kinda depends more on if you are hanging with a bunch of modded cars...then they pull you over for stuff like that....

basically tho...HID in stock housings cause glare and blind other drivers...

As long as they are aimed correctly you should have no problem. Sure they are more blinding than halogens but not enough to ***** about if positioned properly.

If you blackhouse them it slightly reduces the amount of light scattering around so that will reduce glare from certain angles as well.

I'd say 6000k with blackhoused OEM headlights is the way to go for general purposes.
