i think a light smoke wouldnt be TOO different and would add a nice touch,

you could always tint it with the vinyl and if you dont like it just rip it off

Yea once I get back from my brothers wedding I am going to look up the manual to the AE-1 that u linked in the photography shoutbox. I really want to learn how to use it so I can submit some non blurry pictures of my car in the new new 6thgen video that is being made. The deadline is october 31 so hopefully I can get moving with learning about this camera. I'm a noob again ha. I forgot how helpless I felt when I was a car noob and now being a photography noob makes me feel uncomfortable.

Re: Yep. (56k no way.)

everybody's got to start somewhere. i only knew how to "point and shoot" not even 3 years ago...

i jumped to an SLR and was "thrown into the fire" as it were. looking at the first pics i took...i was like...why the hell did i use that setting or why was this wrong?

in my experience...just jump in and do it...learn from what didn't work and remember what did.

Lol yea, I have the camera at the wedding here but I can't figure out how to turn it on? Or even find where the battery is so I might google it later so I can atleast figure that part out. Someone told me u don't have to turn it on but its always on? I dunno.

battery is on the front of the camera, next to where your right hand is, under the door.

look at the top of the camera...wayyyyyyyy to the right side you see a switch with an L next to it. flip it so that an A appears.

then go to the left side, and there's a button towards the front of the camera (but still on top). if it beeps 6 times per second, youre good to go. otherwise, you need a new battery.

probably will be dead.

had to take the bottom plate off my "new" camera and soak it in vinegar since the door was basically welded shut. be glad you wont have to deal with that :lawl:

Damn that's crap. I hope I don't run into any problems like that.
