Yea, ill have to take the wheel off soon. Thanks for those pics, they will help a lot.

I would have to get a new rear cover because there is no cover where it would go, its one piece. its only 7 bucks though. but the part #s for EX and LX are the same, so maybe I am missing something.

just those two screws at the top to remove the bag, correct?

per hondaautomotiveparts.com the clock spring part # is the same between EX and LX. but with both there are two different manufacturers, with two separate part #s: 371028 and 371029.

as it looks , it looks like black =ground the top with the plastic clip then the two power wires probley if someone one, one day tries to follow them to the radio looks like the just two extra wires to the back of the stereo unit , if someone that is switching over one person snap a shop of there harness to the back of the cd player with the option of the remote on steering wheel and one with no option see if there is a differnce and can hopfully figure out from there

98-2000 V6 EX had the controls, the 4cyl didn't get them till 01-02

All 98-02 V6 EX have always had them.

Also was wondering if it was possible to swap/ add this to a 98-00 4cyl.

ANY thoughts on this swap?

Are you positive about that? Because I haven't taken off my wheel yet. I have a 98 EX without leather.

Brandon there is a possibility that your car might be prewired for it because V6 EX's had it 98-02 (I think). However if you have an LX it won't be wired for it. You'd have to buy the DD 6 Disk in dash radio, then the harness and buttons to hook everything up. All of the 6 disk changers should have the plug on the back for the steering wheel controls. Again, all of this is just in theory.

IMO, it's more trouble than it's worth.

probably, but I ALWAYS drive with my left hand right there where it would be perfect to be able to change the song. I have the dice ipod adapter and usually keep it on random so I change the song quite frequently. And every time I wish I had the button there.

ill try to check behind steering wheel and radio this weekend and see whats back there...

This is what I was driving at, it is my belief as well. But take a look, maybe we're missing something.

It is a nice feature to have, but it is a bit limited in that you can only control volume and forward tracks (disc) and presets for radio. You can, however, switch sides of a cassette tape, which is pretty handy. :ugh: :lawl:

Yea, I have the DD 6 Disc Changer. I bought a black leather steering wheel with the buttons (still FS btw), but I haven't taken my wheel off to see if I have the harness or not. I might wait until I get a beige leather wheel. May be more trouble, but a lot of mods are trouble. I just like OEM 'mods' or options.
