Short Ram Intake ~ MAJOR HEADACHE!

So does the stock intake work the same way as an SRI? Just wondering, like the 3 things that stick out .. all it is is just a hallow alloy tube that goes into the sri. On the stock intake, does those plastic things that stick out work the same way as the sri? like is it also just a hallow hole that goes into the stock intake?
If so, I might as well just buy two more hoses and just cut them to proper length then just use the rings to tighten them up .. would that work? If that will work I'm going to head out to Lordco and see if they have any hoses...
I was wondering if the hoses will withstand the heat, because that pipe the connects the intake manifold and the iacv/throttlebody to the stock intake .. its pretty steaming hot after i turn off the ignition.. believe me i tried earlier .. its freaking hot!

yeah .. umm right now im trying to figure out how to install it and not be told not what to do .. its already bought so yeah .. and i never knew it was from taiwan -.-

id say plug one of em with some rubber hose thing.

Wow such an easy fix.... Just cut a littlLe bit of thr hose they gave you off and connect the tube that has 2 lines coming to it to the intake tubing... And go to the hardware store and get some plugs for thr other holes...

This is my thoughts on how to hook it up.
(I edited one of your pictures to show you - hope you dont mind!!)
Remove the items that have the word "remove this" on them from your car completely.
Connect tube 1 to either no.2 or no.4 (whichever is easier) with the piece of Silicone hose (the ft and a half long hose that came with it)
Then get some blanking plugs for the other 2 unused ports.
Connect the reducer to the throttle body and clamp with hose clamp
Fit Filter to other end
Enjoy the sound of mad vtax!
P.S. The pipe is only that hot cos it has coolant running through it for the IACV and it is metal so conducts heat.

That just gave me an idea, thanks. I'll have to check it out tomorrow when my car isn't so hot. I bought a new fuel injection line hose same diameter .. apparently its better? dunno whatever .. i just needed the extra hose for the hell of it ..

Yeah editing my photos is fine, thats the reason why I posted them, so people can edit and show me. I'll probably do it that way ..
Using the edited photo, I'm thinking of going this route...
Remove 1 and cut the included silicon hose and attach it to 1 on the pipe that goes to the stock intake.. connect that to number 2 or 3...
the stock hose on the back of the stock intake is able to reach number 4 .. but then now i'm stuck with number 2 or 3 if one of them isn't going to be used, how can I delete that? plug it?
Is there a specific plug I can use? You mentioned blanking plugs, would I be able to find that at an auto part store?
P.S. Forgot to mention, my other route was just connecting each hose to each of the openings on the sri.. like i have a total of three hoses connected to the stock intake.. except one of the 3 are connected to a piping.. so my route was iacv/throttle body to maybe number 3, then number 1 from the manifold to number 2 and then number 4 will be the one hose at the back .. since its already reachable I don't have to worry about a new hose for it ..
Already purchased like 2 feet of fuel injection line (was told it would do the job better than the silicon =P dunno :S
oh yeah again.. sorry for the constant addition =P but umm .. if there is coolant running through the pipe.. does that mean i'll have coolant running into the sri piping? or is that normal?

Wait a second, is there another hose that connects to the other side of the stock intake tube?? (I didnt see any in the photo's you posted)
I have seen people crimp the unused tubes in a vice, but I would advise getting a blanking plug instead of that way (they look like a light bulb sock) you should be able to get one from an auto parts store.
(you could be really shady and jam a bolt in the end of a hose that fits onto the spare barb)
