6GA Rant: Air Conditioner = Bicycle Speeds

Ugh.

So it got reallly hot here all of a sudden - 33 degrees (celsius lol).

Turned on the A/C and the car feels like it weighs 5000 pounds and is pushing 3 horses. SO slow hahaha

I know you lose some power with A/C but this is incredible.....

I dunno how you guys in areas that are hotter for longer handle this :jealousbow:

You drive a V6 and still notice it? I'm wondering if upgrading all the pulleys and switching to an underdrive crank could help solve that problem. I know you can't run a huge sound system if you switch to performance pulleys though.

When people ask me about my mods and what they're good for, the way I explain it basically is to tell them that now my car with the a/c on is like what it used to be w/ no mods and the a/c off.

Well, you go enjoy lower power steering pressures, less efficient A/C and supplying less than 14.4V to car electronics! :goyou:
