Sell your AT ECU, and get a 6spd one. You'll be happier with the tuning, and the way the engine runs.

NICE SWAP MAN!!!! 6speed all the way...

rapid question.

how to fix the issues using the ECU J32a2 and the ignition?

Which key are you using to start the car? Thanks

Just getting info, probably doing the swap during next months. Thanks.

Thanks again for the comments guys!. I'm loving the car more and more each day I get used to the clutch more and more. This is my first manual vehicle so the first couple of days were to learn the curve as they say.

flaccords.com annual meet in daytona on aug 21

all the little cb's and cd's will cream their pants when you say how many gears you have
I remember signing up for that site but never remember to go back. I'll do my best to make it.

Congrats man, very nice! I personally witnessed the transformation of Matt's car at IA, and I have to say you must be loving this car now that it's truly a beast.

I recently found a donor CL-S and was set to go for this swap...but it was in Jersey.
I gotta say I can def. feel the power difference with the Type S motor.

Is that the one someone is selling on V6P ?

I do have the 6spd ECU running right now. I just don't have Vtec. My motor came out of an automatic CL S.

I got 2 uncut programmed keys from Richie along with the CL S ECU. All I did was replace the ECU with the CL S and wire it up correctly so it'll start. I also just took the uncut key to a locksmith to cut them to match my locks+Ignition and that's it.

Right here:
http://v6performance.net/forums/showthread.php?t=204430

He was selling the whole car for $3500, wouldn't part anything out but the performance parts. Meaning if I drove there, had the motor/trans swapped, I'd have to get the car transported back here to take parts off, or have someone go with me in a van/truck to bring the parts back in. Not to mention my old motor/trans.

Just isn't practical for me. If only he was closer.

If he would just sell me the motor/trans/ecu I would say screw keeping my old motor/trans/ecu to sell. That's how bad I want this. lol

do some research before you start throwing your $0.02 around, and recommending things that are not necessary.

happier with the tuning? wtf? lol. the auto ECU and 6 spd ECU are exactly the same when it comes to fuel injection, timing, etc.

just because paul built your j36, doesnt mean you know squat.

if hondastylez gets a 6spd ecu hes going to have to replace his cam pullies, crank position sensors, TDC sensors, not to mention the harnesses that go with it.
