my mecanic is old school i dunno if he knows about any of these things....and pretty much every other mecanic is the same way around my way....i dunno wat to do...is it worth trying it and then it doesnt work...or should i just go with a new head...

There are ways to Micky mouse the fix, but I would just get a new head. Keepl the old one, the valves are expensive. Not only that someone might buy it as is

yea that's true. also someone might buy it to scrap. like selling copper and other metals. people would want it for good money.

how much is it usually to get a head fully built...i know there was sumguy here dat was selling a built head i new i shoulda just bought it!

I snapped my autometer temp sensor in the head as well..but luckily it capped itself off..so i bought a radiator adapter hose fitting to put the sensor in..has been fine for 2+years now.

as for the head,You can always try to find an adapter a brass male/female..male larger to go into the new larger tap then female side smaller to fit the sensor into.
but might take some searching and trial and error because not many local stores like ACE carry alot of metric threading.

OR just find a bolt same thread size/pitch of the sensor,screw it in and seal it up with some silicone or hondabond and get the radiator adapter like I have.this would be the easiest fast fix..

good idea 1nonly.....but i guess my mechanic has managed....he just snugged the sensor in and jb welded around it and so far its good...

lol gotta get it inspected now....which is gonna fail...i need tires and i need to wire my speedo and vtec and do my whole exhaust...
