AEM intake Problem

A lot of noobery going on in here...

The intakes are aluminum, you're going to have to find someone who has a TIG welder... probably a performance shop, not a muffler shop.

If you don't want to pay to have it welded, bust the goddamn brace off and put duct tape over it.

Are you guys really going to get into airflow dynamics on a aluminum tube that gives you 2-3 hp? Come on guys, let's be reasonable here.

i can care less about how much horse power it's gives or takes from my car.
it just sucks that you spend as much as you do on an intake for something like this to happen! i call BS! that wack eBay one lasted me for a long time problem free! maybe i should take a dremel to that C.A.R.B indent and weld that bissh to a new eBay one! :thumbsup:

yeah like finch said, it has to be tig welded. my injen intake has the same problem but my weld didnt break the actual tube cracked. if i still had access to a tig, i'd fix it myself. i'm gonna jb weld mine

i Have a Friend that said he would weld it for me tomorrow-
