Do you think a 6GA can be faster than a Nissan Skyline GTR with the right turbo and engine swap? If you think so give input if not explain why. J32, J35,J36 and J37 engine swaps are all possible. Also what would be the bet transmission for this.

The Skyline GTR is running at 485hp with a 3.5 second 0-60.

You have to have unlimited/deep pockets to make a simple family Honda as fast as a straight from the factory performance car.

The GTR is AWD drivetrain, Hondas besides the S2K are FWD.

You'd have to have a bulletproof tranny on your J series..

Also, why the R35?

I guess it's possible for a 6GA to be faster than a GTR but in the end, is it worth it? Could that money have been spent better on a more better, performance orientated vehicle?

I think $20,000 would be more than enough to do it. A J37 with around 20psi boost and that should do it. Considering I'd be spending $20,000 itdstill be cheaper and faster than getting a high performance car.

oh the possibilities... :run:

eh, imo i wouldnt really bother to get it that fast. I would more rather make it a fun autocross car.

If you have the funds its all up to you to go through with it.

you're all talking about "you're wasting money, i would buy a new car with that money" which is not the point of the thread. he asked if it was possible and explain why or why not...no need to bash him saying it's a waste of money.

anyway, i think it's possible with the right amount of money. car are amazing machines with money anything is possible. just gonna have a lot of custom parts to get a car that fast without blowing the engine or tranny after one run.
