Acceleration From 2000 RPM to 3000 RPM

I have a 99 EX V6 and I don't know if it's just me but when I step on the gas to accelerate (not flooring), the RPM seems kind of slow from 2000 RPM to 3000 RPM. Any suggestions? Thanks..

um, it could be that you assume more out of the car

or you could run through the gammit of cleaning air filter, seafoam, change oil, new o2 sensors, resetting the ecu, clearing a clogged cat, cleaning other sensors

sounds like it's in limp mode.. check your oil and do maintenance
