im thinkin of buying one at the junkyard and painting it...uhm what should i replace when i change the valve covers? get new head gasket? or what?.....uhm and does anyone know how to adhere stickers that wont melt off?

You need to replace your valve cover gasket and you spark plug gasket. It's about $40. After you replace them, you can keep swapping them for about 10k miles if you want to redo your VC.
