arent they only for if u want to auto cross i never really looked into them

no, if you want to "slam" your car, tokico hp struts will not handle being "slammed" since you want to go 3" or lower you need adjustable struts to handle your car being so low.

but for the price, you may want to buy coil-overs as, koni yellos are about 600 bucks. why i recommended full coilovers like f&f type 1's.

I'm sitting on ksport springs with tokico hps, and i have no gap, about 2.75 drop ( a little lower as ksports are universal springs for the i4 and v6s, and the added v6 weight, weighs the car down more in the front).

so my tokicos are probably at thier limit as it is.

A 1.5" drop put my car a lot lower than your 2" drop. Yours looks to be more like a 1" drop.

Save up for something better than Tokico HPs if you want to go lower than 2.5", especially if you plan to use those sleeves in the meantime. Koni Yellows are a higher quality strut. They're height-adjustable (about an inch), damper adjustable, and most importantly, they have a limited lifetime warranty. Do it right, do it once, if you can afford to.

Why not just save your money for the Type 1's instead of dropping $300 on a set of HP's, and then saving for full coilovers?

yea after you spend 300 then buy 600 dollar coils from F2...you could've bought a full type 2 or 2.5 set already. don't ever be hastey with the car. always be sure of what your buying before you jumo into it. still...this isn't my car or money. do what you want. just stating my opinions.
