I got 35w ballasts 6000k HIDs from HIDextra. My friend has the same setup on his 2008 Accord and is using 30 amp fuses. I believe the stock fuse for the head lights is 20 amps for the 6th gen. I was wondering if I could use a higher amp fuse. His output seems a lot brighter since he's using the 30 amp fuse vs the 20 amp fuse.

i have no idea how does higher fuse amp would translate to brighter output, but what i do know is that it's better to replace it with a higher fuse than lower from stock settings.

i agree....its made to handle 20 amp fuses...if you increase it...its not gonna instantly blow/burn out ither your ballast or headlight switch...but with time it might....i think the stock wires are too high of a gauge to handle more than 20 amps..

Your fuses are there for your and your cars protection.. if you go with a higher one (going from 20 to 30) you have the chance of fire, or frying your balasts or even wiring system... bad idea.. would never suggest it...

Don't increase your fuses more than 5 increments. I bumped mine to 25 amps because my HIDs were intermediate ignititing. After the increase in amps, I never had the issue.

When I had my accord, I never replaced my fuse with a higher ampage.
Remember, HID's are designed to produce more lighting output and use less wattage than stock halogen bulbs.

A fuse will make ZERO difference. Nothing, not ever a little bit. It can't make a difference. All a fuse does is pass electricity. To much amperage, it blows. It doesn't effect amperage, it's not a resistor.
Never replace any fuse on your car (or anything for that matter) with a higher amp fuse. They are made to blow for a reason. Blowing a fuse is much better than burning up your components or even starting an electrical fire in a severe case.
Lastly, if your 20 amp fuse isn't blowing, perfect, everything works correctly. Call it a day.
