^^ yeah they look good but they no worky in no time. Mine had a dead led out of the box. They fog up like a mofo and they have horrible fitment alignment.

I have the Depo red/clears now. Any recommendation on what LED to use? The dispersion has to be really wide and bright.

ok, apparently i must of have forgotten to turn notifications on for threads.

yeah, my concern with led is that i've been hearing about the leds going out on them.
is this suggested led tail light set the better/best one? if you guys have had these and haven't had any problems with them then i'll probably just get these. These leds don't use stock bulbs (with exception of reverse and turn im guessing) but they're still direct fit and plug in right?

i have found LED bulbs not to be as bright as stock. I have tried about all of the LED bulbs and messed around with them, even the ones that have lights in different directions. And the really big LED bulbs will not fit in the tail lights, some were too long when I tried them. I find the sylvania silverstar bulbs. Not to mentioned I tinted the tail lights a little too dark and have gotten pulled over once. if i'm wrong, then what led bulbs do you guys use?

so the Depo brand is the best one other than stock? i plan to smoke the clear lens part of the Depo tail lights to match the rest if I do get them. I don't plan on smoking it with more than 2 coats.

yeah i already read that and didn't help that much.

VLED's. I paid $50 for a pair of 3157 bulbs from them a couple years ago, and they have been great. Great quality and bright.

Which LED bulbs have you tried in your tails? When it comes to exterior LED lighting, VLED's is the best imo. As stated above I have a pair from them that are bright and of great build quality. They are also very close to the size of the filament 3057 bulbs they replaced.

so the Depo brand is the best one other than stock?

Yes

i've tried about 6-8 different types, ranging from $4-$40 each. From round led bulbs to the $40 ones that had tons of leds on them. I eventually returned them all.

Do you have links to those VLeds? Not sure if I have or havent tried them yet.

I'll probably go with the Depo brand or the stock looking TYC brand since I've read that TYC is really good as well.

They no longer sell the ones I have, but they were something like these (in red):

I'm sure the newer ones with the heatsink are even better, but I don't want to spend $80 on bulbs.

ive tried something like that from ebay, but i don't they are the same brand. highest i spent was around $40 for a pair, i will have to try that brand and see.

I don't think VLED's sells through Ebay, so you probably had something cheaper.

will do, i'll post up my current crappy euro lights that are smoked soon. The left gets water in it for some reason, but I don't think it's the light. I had my quarter panel replaced by a bodyshop dude on the side and he line it up perfectly :-/, what i get for letting amateurs do it. so ever since then my stock and euro lights would get water into after a hard rainy day. do i just upload them to my gallery or actually put it in a thread somewhere? not new to forums but new to this forum.

will have to order those VLEDs tonight, thanks for the link.
