My complete audio install (56K warning)

Hello all. had my audio equipment around for a few months and finally had the time and complete parts to put all in my accord this past weekend.

the goods:
- alpine cda-9807 (i have the alpine cda-7998 aka the phantom faceplate, but the unit wont motorize out, :madrun: if anyone knows a place in the LA area that fixes head unit hit me up. and i know thats impossible to find)
- Diamond audio HEX 600s component speakers
- Diamond audio D363i rear speakers
- (2) JL audio 10W0
- JL audio 450/4 amp
- JL audio 250/1 amp
- Stinger wires/cables/fuses, Fosgate RCAs and ground splitter

heres the build

cut out the middle plastic thingy and installed the crossovers there

made a speaker adapter, stuck it in a baffle, fatmatted the doors

cut hole for tweeter on the doors, dash looked like too much work.

ran the RCAs and speaker wires on the passenger side, and the power cable on the driver side

cut a piece of board the same size as the back part of the cargo area for more support on those heavy amps. also a piece of board behind the carpet to screw in the block and splitter

thats a really clean build bro, outa curiosity, why didn't you just pull the whole trunk floor out of the trunk and make one outa mdf so you could bolt everything down including your box, and the reasoning behind that is A) would be able to secure your box and amps to the floor so nothing moves, and B) so you can have everything insured by your insurance company, incase anyone try's to steal anything, really like this build tho, ditch the head unit and get a, alpine double din, they look wonderful in our cars haha

thanks, I didnt really think of doing that. but you have a good point. Proly go buy more MDF and redo the cargo floor when i have another free day.:thumbsup:

but i ran all my power and ground and didnt have to take out my front and rear seats, too much work haha. good job though

glad i could help you out man haha, its nice you can pull out the cardboard trunk floor pretty easily, i have a sedan coupes may be different, get a mdf sheet trace it out and cut away haha, ohh and some oem looking carpet, or reuse yours lol
