Hello all. had my audio equipment around for a few months and finally had the time and complete parts to put all in my accord this past weekend.
the goods:
- alpine cda-9807 (i have the alpine cda-7998 aka the phantom faceplate, but the unit wont motorize out,
if anyone knows a place in the LA area that fixes head unit hit me up. and i know thats impossible to find)
- Diamond audio HEX 600s component speakers
- Diamond audio D363i rear speakers
- (2) JL audio 10W0
- JL audio 450/4 amp
- JL audio 250/1 amp
- Stinger wires/cables/fuses, Fosgate RCAs and ground splitter
heres the build
interior out!!!
cut out the middle plastic thingy and installed the crossovers there
made a speaker adapter, stuck it in a baffle, fatmatted the doors
cut hole for tweeter on the doors, dash looked like too much work.
ran the RCAs and speaker wires on the passenger side, and the power cable on the driver side
cut a piece of board the same size as the back part of the cargo area for more support on those heavy amps. also a piece of board behind the carpet to screw in the block and splitter
