i think thats just the normal sounds of aftermarket intakes

qft

every intake i've ever had has done it. it's because of the vacuum the engine creates pulling the air through or for those that actually understand how engines work that it's atmospheric pressure actually pushing air into the engine, and it's not truly "pulling" or "sucking" air in.

as the air enters it comes in in a vortex pattern based on the shape of the intake and as it passes through the throttle body. so think of a tornado.... ever heard a quiet tornado?

your OEM intake doesn't make noise because they have resonators and more tubing and whatnot to deaden the sound.

I know exactly what you are talking about but that isn't the same sound i am talking about. It is an extremely high pitched sound like the 8 Khz on this.

That slot is for the idle air control valve. It keeps your car from choking out when the throttle is closed.

Mine does the same noise but only when the car is cold, eg first thing in the morning, after a couple min the sound disapears! what kind of intake do you have?
