Will be going back to pick up the fabric Saturday. Narrowed it down to about 4 or 5 patterns. going back forth from green and a couple purple and others.
Also going to take out all the panels that need fabric on Saturday

may i suggest a carpet like substance. like the really fuzzy kind you might find in someone's living room... It hasn't been done much since the 70's, so it'd be different again. ill see if i can find a suitable pic to make sure we don't get mixed up on what im saying.

disgusting couch. but the carpet would be interesting i think. and im sure you could find it in color. it might be a little more difficult to work with than fabric though.

Thanks for the suggestion! I am heavily considering going that route and have been battling back and forth with ideas. I still have to make a decision. I've got a couple different ideas. Also I've realized I've got to lean more to an upholstry style thicker fabric, not the thinner cotton style due to the cotton fabric more than likely not being able to hold up to the heat... hmm.

Lol I was just texting Chris (RedRyder) about this. I am going to buy the materials Saturday morning and work awhile, do a job (fix a CRV blah blah) and then come back and finish it hopefully. I've got my good VW friend helping me.
