wow really some of you think 6.5 is good ... ****tt around my way ppl wont even give you 5000 and 4500 if your lucky. I've tried selling my 01 v6 for 6000 with rims system and 1 month old paint job that ran me 1300 and the most i've been offered was 4500 .... maybe I should try selling my car down there:hide:

Drop it! Oh wait... that advice doesn't work in this thread....
I'd say list it between $5k and $6k and be prepared for haggling. We recently tried to sell our Dodge Durango (granted the market sucks for it because of the fuel economy), but had no interest after almost 3 months. Ended up taking it to carmax  That being said, the market around me isn't that good for used vehicles, but the fact that its a 5 speed should help. It'd make a good first car for somebody

where
i paid 4600 for mine in september of last year with 114k, and probably a 7/10 body/paint (nhbp was horrendous)

i'd pay no more than 4k for a 9 year old car with 150,000 miles, thats just me

What makes you think a paint job would increase the cars value? Unless it's a classy gem that people have restored and repainted, a 2001 car that gets repainted won't fetch a pretty penny.

I have a hard time believing that some of you would pay 4.5K max though. What is your reasoning?

Asking price is $6,980 - $12,000, with mileage ranging from 48K to 162K.

The reason why I mentioned the paint job is because the car looks brand new. no scratchs dents rust everything looks brand spanking new. Not like most cars that you buy and theres severl scratchs on the bumpers. And you can't compare the price between someone selling in the street as appose to a dealers price. Dealers usually give warranty when you buy a car and they usually make sure the car is in good condition b4 selling it so it won't bite them in the @ss ... But a random person could sell you a ****ed up car and you'd be @ssed out. #just saying its common sence
