I know can't it be added? And is LSD really that big of a deal anyway? I've only drivin two cars that were a stick.

I've actually read in a few forums the same thing ... Not the way he put it but yea ... I've read the J35 will not fit in our cars so what ppl do is put the j32 buttom with the J35 top end and even then the hood wont clear so more modification will need to be done ... Don't know much but I'm just saying

There are a few people posting in this thread that should probably just lurk rather than post......just sayin.
I don't know about US vs CDN versions of the TL/TL-S, but I do know that the 3rd Gen TL(certain trim levels) have 6MT and LSD. Check Wikipedia and educate yourselves. Also J-series engines fit in our car just fine.
OP, for that price, nice pickup, I wish we could find deals like that here.
It's definately a major project, but if you and your wallet are willing, do your thing.

But the 3G TL 6MT does, which is why I think the OP chose that tranny.
Again Halabeaster.....if there is even a shadow of a doubt in your mind that you may be inaccurate in what you are posting just save it. There are a handful of other guys on this site that are well versed in J swaps/builds and 6MT swaps that can give this guy all the info he needs and save you from looking like an idiot............again.

lolz ... Ok so am I wrong or right? will the J35 have enough clearance for the hood to close properly? or is there modification that needs to be done to the frame?
