Looking around I've seen some people here at 6GA paint their plastic engine covers various different colors. I want to take that one step further and paint not only my car's plastic engine covers, but also paint my car's intake manifold.
Now I know that the manifold gets pretty hot so I will need some high temp paint. Will I also need some sort of high temp base paint as well to preventing the paint from bubbling/boiling off? What are some high temp base paint and colored high temp paint that's recommended?
Then what about the plastic covers. I know some of those pieces get pretty warm too. Will those require any sort of high temp base paint and paint? Or will regular off the shelf paint work for both parts?
TIA. This will be totally badassery when finished
