You would think typing this up for everyone and getting rid of most of the confusion in one place would claim at least more then 6 comments.

Maybe calling people 'noob' on a subject you just became somewhat knowledgeable on doesn't work in your favor. And the transmission swap portion is less complete than the list on V6P.

It's all on V6P. Basically a machined metal pin gets welded onto the shifter arm if you use the 7GA 6MT (and not 7GA shift cables). Otherwise you will be shifting opposite of what the correct gear shift pattern is.

You aren't, and I am willing to bet that you never will be, in a position to call other people "dummies." You took a bunch of easily accessible information posted by j-swap pioneers (let me be clear, I am not one of them), put it in one place, then expect a bunch of sackriders to hop up on it.

Also, this is at least the third thread created on this site alone by inexperienced people trying to "clear it up" for everyone else.

To add insult to injury, there are a few things in your list that are incorrect anyways. Since it was brought up:

2003 CLType S Transmission Assy (I went this route for the transmission instead of the tl or 7th gen because of two reasons: A. It has LSD B. No rewelding parts to make things work)

A. The TL transmission has LSD as well
B. No welding needs to be done if you mate the shift cables and assembly to the transmission generation. Meaning that if you run a TL or 7th gen transmission with the 7th gen shift assembly and cables, it is a direct bolt-up.

I never said this. But sure if your looking to do a swap would you look through 100 pages of questions or would you rather look at the one post which has everything you need and an explanation of why u need the parts.

I didnt say that the tl tranny didnt have LSD. And this is the part list for the parts I had so you are incorrect saying that I am with my set up. I'd have to weld it if I used a 7th gen or tl assembly with my cl s transmission. Also easily accessible is 99+ pages of confusion on v6p. Not easy but sure anyone can go look it up. This was meant to make things simpler and stop people making threads about this.

but that's assuming your facts are flawless, which they've been proven they aren't

so where in lies the credibility of trusting a single post with all the facts if you claim you're not an expert

If this thread pertains ONLY TO YOUR BUILD, then it's not a "master list." This is a "here's the parts I bought for MY SWAP but there are a million more variations you can go with depending on the parts you buy...for dummies" thread.

BTW, I used MikeyMikes original thread for 95% of my engine/trans swap. Yes, one single thread. So hard.

I get that you're trying to help people out, and that's cool of you, but ultimately, your thread won't do anything more than any of the other threads have done, especially if you're only giving the recipe for somebody to copy your exact build.

it's so nice that they can pm you, when you're not exactly qualified to be handing out mass quantities of knowledge on this subject clearly.

I'm not an expert myself, but I've been seeing the parts lists for more than six years on a couple forums...so you're pretty much new to all this.
