Re: Interior Overhaul - 3/25 update

Yeah, good way to do it.

I was contemplating doing silver with my interior, and I know we have that Krlon Plastic Paint up here, so I may give it a try.

Looks like it holds up well with the right preparation.

ill let you know how it holds up, and i just found some good satin clear coat that im using on a lot of the parts, still using the matte clear on the dash parts since the front of the dash will be matte

that seems like the easiest way to do it. i want to tackle a black interior, everything seems straight forward, just the dash is a PITA

i know people have taped off the windshield and painted it in the car, might be worth looking into.

Looking really good so far!

thanks! your interior with the purple suede was some of my inspiration:)

Btw more pics added

Without question this needs to be in the DIY section.

You're doing some great work, and I hope all the pieces are abe to go back and fit properly.

We all know how Honda's are once you take something apart.

Re: Interior Overhaul ~ 3/26 Update

thanks, ill change the layout of it to dyi when its finished, ive removed most of the panels and put them back in already, so those should be easy, the hard part is assembling the parts i took apart, like airvents and such, and wrapping the sun visors.
carpet will be next, im cleaning it with soap then pressure spraying it, then black fabric paint

I am curious to see the process of wrapping the visors, or maybe I am overthinking the degree of difficulty.

That....actually makes sense.

Or does it?

I'm so confused!

Keep up the good work. I feel your pain in doing this, it's a lot of work!

Looks like your wrapping the pillars, door card inserts, rear deck, etc (exactly what I did).

What are your plans with the headliner/sun roof? It's not too hard, just a lot of work to get out....
