I know I'm going to get biased answers here but I also know that any other website would just tell me NOT to do it.

Do the guys around here running the 4Cylinder turbo sets ups feel it was worth it? I sort of want something more fun. I like my accord but get kind of bored driving it and the power to weight ratio just seems awful. If i was going to work with the Accord I would probably just boost the F23 but wasn't sure if it's worth my time and effort.

I'm thinking about either working with what I have or saving up to get something RWD and smaller.

I think it all depends how much you like the car, its condition in terms of body/chassis rust, other work that needs to be done to it etc.
If you've maintained it well and its in good condition then why not.

If you dont like the car its a whole other story

lets just say, nothing beats the satisfaction of taking down a G37 leaving the other driver with that "wtf happened here" face.

Thanks for the input guys! Id say I like the car a fair bit. I wasn't really looking to do anything extreme I just wish I had a little bit more pep. It would be pretty cool if I could keep up with some of my friends cars, though idk how likely that is. I like the comfort and style of my coup though so it'd be nice to just stick with what I have. I also don't see a lot of tuned 6th gens floating around my area as opposed to the endless swarm of Civics and Integras that I see everyday.

I do have a little bit of Honda Rot popping up in the rear wheel wells. It's not bad though and I'm in PA so there's not much I can do to avoid it.

How much power do you feel you need to put down before the car becomes more fun? Would I notice the difference with a modest goal of 250-300?

When (rpm) does the turbo start to spool up and build power for you guys?

You'd easily notice the difference! 250 hp is about twice what the car came with! It's more than fun at that power level. The problem is that most folks are never really satisfied AND we all get used to the power and then we want more. I think that the purpose of putting money into something like this is to enjoy it...and 250hp is plenty fun!

As far as turbo spool goes, it varies per setup. Usually, the guys with lower hp numbers spool faster (2000 rpm and up). Mine is at full spool at about 3500 rpm and makes tons of power.
