noob question..what would happen if i take off the pre muffler on my car??

Replacing the PRE muffler should sound much better actually. Well, it least on the V6 it does. You obviously don't want to remove the MUFFLER itself.

can anyone else confirm this that it sounds good on v6's? i was thinking bout doing this

Yes it makes the v6 exhaust sound deeper and more growl to it.
