Don't know if it has been done but.... Taking an OEM tail light. Opening them up, and sanding out the color and buffing them?

i remember those things, they looked just as bad as the carbon fiber tail lights

did you have a set? i feel like you did, but i can't remember it's been so long since we've seen your 6g if you did, i mean nothing bad, haha, they just really don't look good i don't know what i was thinking when i had the cf altezzas on my old 6g...oh yeah, i was a teenager

it's a cf-like print, not actual carbon fiber. looks terrible.

the lens of the tail lights are colored...like, the whole thing, haha. the only way to sand the color off is to sand the lens into a pile of dust even then though, it'd be a red pile of dust, haha.

Haha, never knew that. Thought they were painted red from the inside.

You would be correct, I had a set, and sold them. I never had them installed. What I should have done was kept them and wrapped them in real CF....THAT would have been great. I know, I haven't posted pics of my car since CanAm 2010......

These were available all day long in 98 I am sure. Clear lights came out before altezza's, and altezza's become the legal alternative as clear lenses are not legal at all. Anyway, good luck finding them, you would see them all day, not sure where they all went.
