How much can I get for my car???

Transmission problems are extremely common in this the gen. I know you prefer an auto but if i were you I'd do swap for the 5spd. If you can find a cheaper place, putting $1500 or so into your car isnt bad at all if that means it can run for another 150k miles. Especially because your car only has about 150k miles already. Its gonna be hard finding someone wanting to buy this car with the tranny problems. and if they do, theyre gonna wanna buy it for much less than $3000, which is not worth it for you.

Thanks for the reply. I just don't want to pay to fix my car for basically the same amount that its worth.
