Sherwin Willams auto center can mix you up an aerosol if you paintcode. Or you can try to find a shade that's close from VHT, etc.

If you use the right tape, it's fine. I have done probably 4 sets. I forget what type of tape it is but if you go to a hardware store, you buy the tape that is supposed to stay on for the shortest time.
As for the silver, I think it would look good. As RR said, get color matched paint. I don't really like it with solid colors but our silver paint has so much metallic in it that it would likely look good to me. Masking the signals is a must for me though.

Kinda forgot about this after i sold my old CG. but now that i have another one, what do you guys think about paint matching it but blacking out the blinker vs leaving the blinker chrome?

i think it looks a lot nicer when you leave the blinker chrome. it looks more stock and is more functional. i've had both on my car before and i definitely prefer the blinker staying chrome. its a lot cleaner. GL

ok, i think the chrome blinker will look cleaner as well. what tape did you use so the chrome didn't peel off?
